Definition: This section contains descriptions of behavior that may be targeted for increase as a replacement skill,  or to enhance the adaptive repertoire of an individual or group.

General Practice Guidelines:

1. It is typically appropriate to consider adding new skills and new behavior to the repertoire of any individual with who we are attempting to reduce a challenging behavior.

2.  Attention should be paid to the current repertoire of the learner and how this skill will enhance functioning and enable the individual to access enforcement more effectively and in a broad range of natural environments.
