General Practice Guidelines:

1.  Formal training in the use of any of the Assessment procedures in this section is highly recommend. A  behavior analyst  should not conduct formal assessments without having had proper training and supervision in the conduct of the assessment procedure or protocol.

2. Assessments should be conducted and results of assessments communicated in a manner consistent with the highest standards of professional practices, in compliance with any and all relevant regulatory requirements, and the practitioners ethical guidelines or codes of conduct.

3 . Informed consent to conduct any proposed assessment should be obtained prior to beginning ANY assessment procedures.
